Arrive in Halong Bay around noon, we board a junk for a wonderful cruise on the emerald green waters of Halong Bay among the 1,969 spectacular limestone islands & islets with a nice seafood lunch served on board.
You will visit a floating fishermen village, it’s the opportunity to see the fisher’s daily life with the primary features in the charming nature.
Then it is your pleasure time for swimming, sunbathing and kayaking (on your own account).
In the evening, you will have dinner on board whistle watching sunset. Then enjoy a night squid fishing from the boat. Tonight, you will experience memorable overnight on board.
Day 5: Halong Bay cruise – Quang Binh (Flight) (B,Brunch) (B)
08.00 – 08.30: Explore a nice cave.
Check-out cabins and settle bills – Luggage collection.
09.30 – 10.30: Having Brunch served in the dining room. Arrive at the boat docking station around 11:00AM.
Transfer directly to the Noi Bai airport for a flight to Quang Binh. Pick up and transfer to your hotel in Dong Hoi city (Quang Binh). Overnight in Dong Hoi.
Day 6: Phong Nha cave – Phong Nha Ke Bang park (B)
8:00: Depart for Phong Nha Cave. You board a boat, upstream the romantic Son river. Enjoy the natural landscape on both sides of the river as a picture.
Arriving the cave. Visiting Phong Nha Cave, voted as one of the most beautiful water caves in the world with 7 criteria: The longest water cave, the tallest and widest cave, the most beautiful underground lake, wide and beautiful dry goods Most of the world, the sand, the most beautiful reef, the longest underground river in Vietnam, the cave has the most magical and magnificent stalactites.
Continue the journey to Phong Nha Botanic Garden.Visiting the gallery including rare and precious animal and plant samples typical of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.Continue the journey along the small path, the tour guide will take you deep into the primeval forest to conquer the top of the Wind Waterfall to see the scenery of the white foam waterfall.Continuing to the Vang Anh Lake, relax freely and swim in the cool blue water, watch the royal birds and see the dances of peacocks…Return to the hotel to rest. Overnight in Dong Hoi.
Day 7: Paradise cave – Chay river, Dark Cave (B)
Take a soft walk for 2km to get the cave. Exploring Paradise cave which discovered by scientists of the British Caving Research Association in 2005, has a length of 31km, the longest dry cave in Asia. With naturally primitive features, Thien Duong Cave looks like a landscape painting, making it very attractive to visitors. According to spelunkers, the deeper one journeys into the cave, the more one feels the wells of heavenly clarity all around. There is a series of white crystal stalactites resembling glass pillars and many other spectacular formations.
Continue the itinerary to visit the Chay River Ecotourism site.Join the Chay river swing with a well-invested and modern zip-line system from which to fall to bathe with this blue and poetic river and participate in other water games (on guest’s own account).Visit Dark Cave: you can zip up or row and row the Kayak boat to reach the entrance of the cave, this is a cave without lighting system so it still retains the mysterious and pristine beauty of nature. You become a cave explorer with a headlight flashlight and specialized equipment, explore the underground river system, admire thousands of diverse and unique shapes of stalactite columns, extremely interesting experience when you have a chance to bathe in the natural mud or swim through Thuy Tien lake and Bong Bong Lake (on guest’s own account). Back to the city center. Overnight in Dong Hoi.
Day 8: Quang Binh – Saigon (Flight) (B)
Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to your hotel. Free at leisure for city tour, shopping time, relaxation… Overnight in Saigon.
Day 9: Saigon – My Tho – Tan Lap Floating village (B)
We depart from Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho city (Mekong delta).
A smooth one and half hour bus ride passing the green rice fields, leads you to the beautiful rural My Tho city.
Embark on boat on the Mekong river.
Visit fisherman’s wharf and see 4 islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, Phoenix. Stop at Thoi Son island (Unicorn) to taste tropical fruit while you are listening to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music” performed by the islanders. Visit an orchid garden.
Visit a coconut candy workshop, a famous specialty of Ben Tre province. Transfer to Ben Tre by boat. Take a short walk on village roads to explore the daily life of local people.
Then visit a family size honey bee farm and enjoy honey tea. You’ll take a rowing boat trip on Vam Chua arroyo. Visit a rice paper production workshop and back to My Tho pier.
After your lunch, transfer to Tan Lap floating village (~65km). Check into your hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Tan Lap.
Day 10: Tan Lap floating village – Phnom Penh (B)
Transfer to Phnom Penh border in the afternoon (18km) then overland to Phnom Penh with 180km more. Arrival in Phnom Penh. Hotel check-in, free at leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 11: Explore Phnom Penh capiotal (B)
You’ll visit some typical sites of the capital including the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, the Raung Damrei Museum.
The Palace building and Silver Pagoda are located within the same walled ground. The Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles. The treasures include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90 kilos and a small 17th-century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. And National Museum of Fine Arts, next to the Royal Palace was dedicated by King Sisowath in 1920.
Over 5,000 objects are on display including Angkorian era statues, lingas and other artifacts, most notably the legendary statue of the “Leper King”. The emphasis is on Angkorian artifacts, there is also a nice collection of pieces from later periods, including a special exhibition of post-Angkorian Buddha figures then visit the Toul Sleng Museum of Genocide. Time for shopping, relaxation… Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 12: Phnom Penh – Siemreap (overland) (B)
Day 13: Explore Angkor Wat Complex (B)
This morning, visit the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk) the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century) then visit Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon, visit Ta Prom then visit the 7th World Heritage Wonderful of Angkor Wat.
In the late afternoon, enjoy the sunset view on the top of Phnom Bakheng temple. Dinner at a local restaurant with the traditional Apsara dance show & overnight in Siem Reap.
