Upon arrival Hanoi,  you will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel. Free at your own leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Hanoi.

After breakfast, we have full-day visit Hanoi with Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, One-pillar pagoda and Ho Chi Minh house complex. Visit the Temple of literature. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon, visit the Ethnology museum, Hoan Kiem lake. Afterward, we will see the famous Water Puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, we drive out of Hanoi. We will then gear up for our first day of riding. We are also introduced to our bicycles, each designated bike than being adjusted and fitted with our own equipment as required. We will receive a briefing on how to ride and how to handle the traffic in Vietnam. We will then set out for our first ride in Vietnam through the valley of sugarcane and rice fields along Highway 6 until we reach the biggest hydro-power station in Vietnam. After lunch we will cycle through the valley, the hills and the sugarcane, orange and corn plantations and get an introduction to the stilt-house villages of the Muong and Thai peoples of the Mai Chau valley. Tonight we will stay in a stilt-house of Thai people.

After breakfast, we will ride through the valley of sugarcane and rice fields in Hoa Binh town, After lunch, we keep riding on Highway 6 to Ninh Binh. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

After early breakfast we transfer to Dong Dao plantation, where we start cycling. Today, we cycle about 30 km on the panoramic road to Cuc Phuong National Park. We will go through the pineapple plantations, valleys, villages, and meet friendly locals along the way. We arrive at Cuc Phuong National Park at around noon and enjoy our packed lunch here. Afterward, we cycle about 2 hours through the National Park and make a couple of stops to visit the Cave of Ancient Men and take a walk before heading back to Ninh Binh. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Ha Long Bay.

11h30: Arrive at the harbor. Welcome and transfer to the cruise ship. Briefing about the itinerary, safety instructions and check-in cabin. Enjoy a seafood lunch served on board.

You will visit a floating fishing village. Contemplate beautiful landscape with thousands of islands of different shapes and sizes. Time to relax on the deck or try kayaking (on your own account) & swimming (if time permits). Enjoy a dinner served on board. Overnight on board.

Enjoy sunrise over the Bay.

Then have a light breakfast: cakes, coffee, tea… Relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Then visit a beautiful cave in Halong Bay.  Check out cabins – Luggage collection.

The cruise ship returns to the wharf while you have brunch served on board.

Back to the pier. Return to Hanoi by car. Overnight in Hanoi.
