Day 1: Saigon city welcomes you

Our tour guide will meet at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and transfer to hotel.
Free time at leisure. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 2: City Tour – Cooking Class (B,L)

After breakfast, join a cooking class.
Before the class time, you’ll visit the famous Ben Thanh Market for around 1 hour. The market tour informs you of Vietnamese ingredients like meat, seafood, fruit, and vegetables. Expect to learn how to distinguish some different ingredients which are later used for cooking practices. Head back to the Cooking Class to be ready for the learning time! After a few hours, you can even bring out the “talent chefs” in you. Besides being about to cook the delectable dishes, you will also learn more about Vietnamese Cuisine Art and get hands-on experiences for the later practice at home. The popular menu includes a local soup, braised fish or pork. After the class, it’s time to taste your self-cooked food plus some dishes prepared by the restaurant.
Afternoon, free at your leisure. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 3: Saigon – Cai Be (Mekong Delta) (B,L,D)

In the morning, you’ll take a 2-hour drive to Hiep Duc Ferry, Cai Lay, Tien Giang, and then go straight to the homestay and you will be welcomed by the staffs’ hospitality and friendliness. Take a short break and enjoy some fruit juice here.
Afternoon, you will take a bicycle ride to start your journey to explore Tan Phong island. Back to the homestay, you can join the cooking time with the host’s family to prepare the dinner. Overnight at Cai Be.

Day 4: Cai Be – Saigon - Danang – Hoi An (Flight) (B)

Breakfast at the lodge. Check-out, then take a motorized boat to visit the An Cu commune with many rice processing factories along the river. This is the biggest rice wholesale market in the Southwest region of Vietnam. Cruising back to the pier than your bus will pick you up and drive back to Saigon. Transfer directly to the airport for a flight to Danang city.
Upon arrival, transfer to Hoian, check into your hotel. Overnight in Hoian.

Day 5: Hoi An, Cooking Class (B,L)

8:30 AM, pick-up at the hotel (by the cooking center). You will visit the Hoian colorful market by boat then join the cooking class for about 2 hours.
Our chefs will show you how to make Vietnamese food. Try it yourself! You’ll enjoy the self-cooked dishes. Take a rest then transfer to the center.
The afternoon is free to explore this ancient town or relax at your hotel…. Overnight in Hoian.

Day 6: Hoi An – Hue (B,D)

After breakfast, transfer to Hue city via Hai Van pass (if the weather permits) where you can enjoy a beautiful of Lang Co beach.
Hotel check-in. You’ll do a city tour in the afternoon to visit the Imperial Citadel and Minh Mang tomb. Enjoy a Royal Dinner at a local restaurant to know more about the Hue’s traditional cuisine. Overnight in Hue.

Day 7: Hue, Cooking Class (B,L)

Pick you up at Toa Kham Wharf and take a boat trip on the peaceful Perfume River. Stop to visit Thien Mu pagoda which was ranked one of the twenty most beautiful landscapes in Hue.
Back to the boat for a scenic cruise to Hue Ecolodge in Thuy Bieu Eco-village. Spend 2 hours to stroll or bike around the quiet village.
Visit a local garden, an old ancestral temple, explore the daily life of local people.
Visit some handicraft families (the incense making family, the joss paper making family and the paper painting family).
Take time to join a special cooking class at Hue Ecolodge under the instructions of Eco-chief. After your practical class, it’s time to taste the Hue traditional dishes that you have prepared. You will have a great time to relax by steeping your foot in medicinal herb water – a traditional therapeutic practice and enjoy excellent massage by blind people.
Transfer you back to the hotel. Free time for shopping, visits, relaxation…Overnight in Hue.

Day 8: Hue – Hanoi (Flight) (B)

Free time until transfer to the airport for a flight to Hanoi.
Pick-up at Noi Bai airport and transfer to your hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi, Cooking Class (B,L)

Take a short cyclo trip (around 1 hour) to see some markets in Hanoi such as Hang Da market and drop at Hang Be market – a typical market in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. The tour guide will help you to bargain and talk to the local people to buy some ingredients we need for the cooking class.
The market tour will give you a chance to explore a traditional Vietnamese market. Then transfer back to the cooking class center. The Chef will lead you through each dish, giving you plenty of opportunities to get involved and try your hand at reproducing the flavors.
Enjoy the dishes you have just prepared. You will be supplied with a recipe booklet containing all of the information you need to reproduce an authentic taste back home.
Afternoon, free time at your leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 10: Hanoi – Mai Chau (B,L,D)

Morning, take a drive to Mai Chau town. It will be a scenic and peaceful drive to the west of the capital.
When you are in Mai Chau, enjoy a family lunch at a Thai-style house in Mai Hich Village and interact with the chummy ethnic people.
Enjoy a peaceful walking around the enthralling valley and stop by some ethnic villages. The greenness of the terraced rice field can win your praises. For tasting some local food, just visit a local market.
Enjoy your dinner with the host. Overnight in Mai Chau.

Day 11: Mai Chau – Hanoi (B)

Morning, free at leisure for trekking or bike ride around the village to explore the daily life of minority people.
Drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 12: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we drive to Halong city through the Red River Delta. The scenic drive will pass through some rural landscapes before arriving at the Ha Long Bay – the famous World Natural Heritage site of Vietnam.
Arrive in Halong city around 11:00 AM. We board a junk for a wonderful cruise on the emerald green waters of Halong Bay among the 1,969 spectacular limestone islands & islets. Enjoying your lunch with fresh seafood at the restaurant of the boat.
You will visit a floating fishermen village, it’s the opportunity to see the fisher’s daily life with the primary features in the charming nature.
Then it is your pleasure time for swimming, sunbathing and kayaking (on your own account).
In the evening, you will have dinner on board whistle watching the sunset. Then enjoy a night squid fishing from the boat. Tonight, you will experience a memorable night on board.
The Halong bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various shapes and sizes. Ha Long Bay is a center of a larger zone which includes Bai Tu Long Bay to the northeast, and Cát Bà Island to the southwest. These larger zones share a similar geological, geographical, geomorphological, climate, and cultural characters.
Hạ Long Bay has an area of around 1,553 km2 (600 sq mi), including 1,969 islands and islets, most of which are limestone. The core of the bay has an area of 334 km2 (129 sq mi) with a high density of 775 islets. The limestone in this bay has gone through 500 million years of formation in different conditions and environments. The evolution of the karst in this bay has taken 20 million years under the impact of the tropical wet climate. The geo-diversity of the environment in the area has created biodiversity, including a tropical evergreen biosystem, oceanic and sea shore biosystem. Hạ Long Bay is home to 14 endemic floral species and 60 endemic faunal species.

Day 13: Halong – Yen Duc Village – Hanoi (B, Brunch)

Enjoy the sunrise over the bay. Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room.
08.00 – 08.30: Explore a beautiful cave in the bay.
Check-out cabins and settle bills – Luggage collection.
09.30 – 10.30: Having Brunch served in the dining room.
Arrive at the boat docking station around 11:00 AM.
Drive back to Hanoi. Stop at the Yen Duc Village – take a 10-minute walk to the water puppet center to enjoy a traditional water puppet show (some cake and fruit will be served before the show). Get back to the bus and back to Hanoi. Hotel check-in. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 14: Hanoi – Departure (B)

Free time until transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
