Day 2: Yangon – Bagan (Flight) (B,L,D)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly to Bagan. Arrive Bagan, transfer to the hotel and check into a hotel. After check-in, Bagan sightseeing including:
Gold gilded Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype for later Myanmar Stupa built by the founder of Bagan King Anawrahta in the 11th century, Wetkyi Inn Gubyauk Gyi, famous for the wall-paintings of 13th century. Lunch at a local restaurant
Htilominlo Temple, one of the biggest Temple, Khay Min Ga Temple, noted for its panoramic view of the area’s numerous, Ananda temple, its beauty accredited Mon ethnic architecture, Some handicrafts, lacquerware craftsmen’s workshop – one of Myanmar’s most treasured. Enjoy the amazing sunset over famous Ayeyarwaddy River at Shwe San Daw Pagoda
Dinner at Nandar Restaurant with a Puppet show. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.
Day 3: Bagan, City tour (B,L,D)
After breakfast, Bagan sightseeing: Nyaung Oo Local Market, Thatbyinnyu Pagoda, famous of its height, Sulamani Temple built in the 12th century, The finest Damayangyi, one of the massive monuments in Bagan, Dhammayazika Pagoda (5-sided Pagoda), one typical village near Bagan where you can observe the daily life of the villager.
Manuha Temple will make you feel the feeling of captured Mon King Manuha while he was in the custody of Bagan King, Nanpaya Temple built of sandstone, Myinkaba Gubyaukgyi Temple where you can see the finest murals. Sunset at Bu Pagoda on the river bank. Lunch & dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 4: Bagan – Yangon (Flight) – Siemreap (Flight) (B,L,D)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly back to Yangon. On arrival, sightseeing and shopping in Yangon. Shwedagon Pagoda- its 100 meters high and golden stupa covered with 60 tons of pure gold leaf Bogyoke Aung San Market – (former Scott’s Market), was built in British colonial times and has a colonial shape. It is one of the best places for souvenir shopping. Lunch at local restaurant
Transfer to Yangon international departure for your departure flight to Siemriep.
Arrive Siemriep, visit Angkor Thom, Bayon and Phimeanakas temples followed by the Terraces of the Elephants and Leper King. In the late afternoon, walk to the top of the hill “Phnom Bakheng” to see the sunset and the fabulous view of the Angkor area. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and some time to enjoy the nightlife of Siem Reap. Overnight in Siemreap.
Day 5: Siemreap, City tour (B,L,D)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the Roluos group of temples. These 3 monuments served as the capital during the reign of King Indravaraman I (877-89), are among the earliest large and permanent temples of the Khmer classical art period. Preah Ko, erected by Indavaraman I in the late 9th century was dedicated by the King to his ancestors. Bakhong is the largest and the most interesting of the Roluos group temples with its active Buddhist monastery. Lastly Lolei, who’s four brick towers are replicas of the ones at Preah Ko, it was built on an islet in the center of a large reservoir by Yasovarman I; the founder of the first city of Angkor.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple which is embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees, and then move on to an extensive tour to the magnificent World heritage site of Angkor Wat.
In the evening, enjoy a buffet-style dinner at the Tonle Mekong restaurant where you can sample many Cambodian and South East Asian dishes whilst watching a dance show made up of traditional Cambodian dances including the classic Apsara Dance. Overnight in Siemreap.
Day 6: Siemreap, City tour (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you will visit Banteay Srei, the exquisite ‘Women’s Citadel’. Located 32 km from Siem Reap town, this was Cambodia’s last major Khmer temple to be re-discovered, and then visit Banteay Samre, built in the third quarter of the 12th century, then move on to visit Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool and representing the Himalayan mountain–lake. Continue to visit Preah Khan, built by King Jayavarman VII and drive to a local restaurant for lunch.
In the afternoon, visit Banteay Kdei which is a beautiful temple surrounded by four concentric walls, then Srah Srang “the pool of ablutions” and lastly Prasat Kravan temple with its unique interior brick sculptures and dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Overnight in Siemreap.
Day 7: Siemreap – Ho Chi Minh City (Flight) (B,L,D)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit Les Artisans d’Angkor and see their stone and wood carving workshops where the artisans are taught to use traditional Khmer techniques. You can also do some last-minute shopping here.
Meet on arrival at Ho Chi Minh City / Tan Son Nhat International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 8: Cu Chi tunnels & City tour (B,L)
Return Ho Chi Minh City. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon, Visit the Chinatown, Thien Hau temple, the History Museum (in case this visit falls on Monday we will visit the War Remnants Museum instead) and make a quick photo stop at the former Presidential Palace. Then, we continue our trip on to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 9: HCMC – Mekong Delta (full-day) (B,L)
After breakfast at the hotel, At 08:00 our tour guide will take you to the Mekong Delta. Arrive My Tho city, get on private boat (with cover) cruise on the Mekong river (Tien river) visit Quy island, enjoy tropical fruits in the orchard. Continue to a part of Bentre province you will have the opportunity to watch local villagers producing coconut candy in the workshop, a 5-minute walk on the village way and try rickshaw or cart (draw by horse), cruising through the smaller canals on local sampans, try honey in beekeeping house…
Lunch at a local restaurant with specialty of Mekong region: deep-fried “Elephant ear fish” rolled with rice paper….
Back to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh city – Hanoi (Flight) (B,L)
We take a morning flight to Hanoi. Meet on arrival at Hanoi / Noi Bai International Airport, and transfer to the hotel.
City tour (time permitting depending on arrival flight): the Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university, the Fine Art Museum and Quan Thanh Temple. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 11: Hanoi full-day city tour (B,L,D)
Today, the city tour includes such sights as Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the One-Pillar Pagoda, and the Ethnology museum.
Afternoon, visit the Temple of Litterature, enjoy a cyclo ride (1-hour) to visit the Hanoi Old Quarter. Visit Hoan Kiem lake.
Evening, enjoy a water puppet performance. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 12: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B,L,D
Leave your hotel for the splendid Halong Bay – the most famous Natural World Heritage site of Vietnam, recognized 02 times by the UNESCO in 1993 and 2000.
11h30-12h00: Arrive at the harbor. Welcome and transfer to the cruise ship. Briefing about the itinerary, safety instructions and check-in cabin. Enjoy seafood lunch served on board.
You will visit a floating fishing village. Contemplate beautiful landscape with thousands of islands of different shapes and sizes.
Time for relaxing on the deck, kayaking (on your own account) & swimming (if time permits).
Cooking demonstration in the dining room. Enjoy dinner served on board. Overnight onboard (Non-private cruise ship).
Day 13: Halong Bay cruise – Hanoi (B,Brunch)
Then visit a beautiful cave in Halong Bay. Check out cabins – Luggage collection.
The cruise ship returns to the wharf while you have brunch served on board.
11:30 Return to Hanoi by bus. Free time to explore the Old Quarter. Transfer to the airport for your flight departure. End of the tour.
