08:00 This morning, we join our guide for a tour with the famous Ho Chi Minh complex comprising his Mausoleum, former residence, the impressive house on stilts and view the One Pillar Pagoda.

In the next step, you will learn more about the historical and cultural events at the peaceful Temple of Literature, known as Vietnam’s first university since the 11^th century.

In the afternoon, you visit the Ethnology Museum which focuses on the 54 ethnic minorities of Vietnam.

Enjoy a soft walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple. Overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay with a short rest stop en route.

Arrive in Halong Bay around noon, we board a junk for a wonderful cruise on the emerald green waters of Halong Bay among the 1,969 spectacular limestone islands & islets with a nice seafood lunch served on board.

You will visit a floating fishermen village, it’s the opportunity to see the fisher’s daily life with the primary features in the charming nature.

Then it is your pleasure time for swimming, sunbathing and kayaking (on your own account).

In the evening, you will have dinner on board whistle watching the sunset. Then enjoy a night squid fishing from the boat. Tonight, you will experience memorable overnight on board.

Enjoy Sunrise over the Bay. Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room.

Transfer directly to the Noi Bai airport for a flight to Hue. Pick up and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Hue city.

Start a new day with a leisure boat trip along with the poetic Perfume River. Stop en route to visit the iconic Thien Mu pagoda (Heavenly Lady pagoda)- the symbol of Hue city. Cruise toward Thuy Bieu Eco-village, an ancient laid back village situated on the bank of Perfume River known for its “Thanh Tra” fruit orchards.

Lunch in a local house in Thuy Bieu village. The afternoon spends biking through the peaceful village, visiting several communal houses, ancient temples and especially the garden-house, a typical and unique feature of the countryside. After a day of walking, your foot will be refreshed by soaking in the medicinal herb water with an excellent massage.

Back to your hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hue.

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Imperial Citadel and see the tomb of the emperor Minh Mang which is located in a tranquil setting of gardens and ponds.

Take a spectacular drive over Hai Van Pass to Danang. Visit the Marble Mountain in Danang. Arrive Hoi An, check into your hotel. Free time for exploring Hoi An town by night. Overnight in Hoi An.

08:00 Start a biking tour from the hotel. We start our ride to a charming local village on the edge of Hoi An which is known for its fine herbs (Tra Que village). This 6km bike tour is mainly along quiet, on flat country roads. There you can see the typical Vietnamese farming life scenery with all the local farmers working hard on their crops.

Continue biking to a fishing village, we try the cruise in our unique bamboo basket boat, you will enjoy sights from the river and have many opportunities to take great photos. It is a great way to see the local way of life along the peaceful river. Back to Hoi An, walking tour visit an ancient house, Fujian Assembly hall, Japanese bridge. Overnight in Hoi An.

After breakfast, transfer to Danang airport for a flight to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh city).

Pick up at the airport and transfer to the downtown. City tour, visit the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the City Hall, the Saigon Opera House. Overnight in Saigon.

08:00 AM, departure to Tay Ninh province and visit the Cao Dai Temple, which reflects the original Caodaist religion. This religion was founded in 1923 and now numbers over 2 million members. Attend the fantastic mid-day service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism.

13:00, we continue to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools,… and were used as a military base for the Vietcong in the American war.

Driving back to Saigon. Free at your leisure. Overnight in Saigon.

08:00 AM:  We depart from Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho city (the Mekong delta).

A smooth one and half hour bus ride passing the green rice fields leads you to the beautiful rural My Tho city.

Embark on a boat on the Mekong river. Visit fisherman’s wharf and see 4 islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, Phoenix. Stop at Thoi Son island (Unicorn) to taste tropical fruit while you are listening to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music” performed by the islanders. Visit an orchid garden.

Visit a coconut candy workshop, a famous specialty of Ben Tre province. Transfer to Ben Tre by boat. Take a short walk on village roads to explore the daily life of local people.

Then visit a family size honey bee farm and enjoy honey tea. You’ll take a rowing boat trip on Vam Chua arroyo. Visit a rice paper production workshop and back to My Tho pier.

After your lunch, drive to Can Tho city. Check into your hotel.

In the early morning, we will take a boat to visit Cai Rang floating market, one of the liveliest floating markets of the Delta, with wonderful photo opportunities. Witness the fascinating scenes, the hustle and bustle of vendors and small boats laden with fruits. We will pull up to the merchants for talking and bargaining. The boat goes through the green water scenery to see local houses, verdant orchards and ship-building yards… After the boat trip, transfer to Chau Doc city. Check into your hotel. Overnight in Chau Doc.

7h00AM: Transfer to the speed boat wharf to a take speed boat to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival at Phnom Penh port, welcome and then transfer to your hotel.

In the afternoon, We will visit the Notorious Tuol Sleng Museum. In 1975 Tuol Svay Prey High School was taken over by Pol Pot’s security forces and turned into a prison known as Security Prison 21 (S-21). It soon became the largest such center of detention and torture in the country. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to the extermination camp at Choeung Ek to be executed; detainees who died during torture were buried in mass graves in the prison ground. The museum displays include room after room of these photographs of men, women and children covering the walls from floor to ceiling; virtually all the people pictured were later killed. Continue to visit the Killing Field of Cheung Ek is situated 15 kilometers south-west of Phnom Penh and made famous by the film of the same name “Killing Field”. It was a place where more than 17,000 civilians were killed and buried in mass graves; many of them transported here after detention and torture in Toul Sleng. This place is a chilling reminder of the brutalities of the genocidal Khmer Rouge regime. In the center of the area is a 17 story glass stupa which houses 8000 skulls exhumed from mass graves. In the morning, we will visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, Raung Damrei Museum. The Palace building and the Silver Pagoda are located with in the same walled ground. The Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90 kilos and a small 17th-century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. And then move to the National Museum of Fine Arts, next to the Royal Palace was dedicated by King Sisowath in 1920. Over 5000 objects are on display including Angkorian era statues, lingas and other artifacts, most notably the legendary statue of the “Leper King” Though the emphasis is on Angkorian artifacts, there is also a good collection of pieces from later periods, including a special exhibition pf post-Angkorian Buddha figures.

After lunch (on your own) we will drive to Siem Reap by National road No. 6 via Kandal Province, Kampong Cham Province and Kampong Thom Province with 314 km distance.

Upon arrival at Siem Reap, transfer to your hotel for check-in. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

In the morning, visit the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk) the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12^th century) and visit Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, impressive laterite and sandstone pyramid. The Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King and visit the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees.

In the afternoon, visit the 7^th World Heritage, Angkor Wat a unique and stunning blend of spirituality and symmetry, an enduring example of man’s devotion to his Gods. It is the largest and undoubtedly the most breathtaking monuments of Angkor and it is widely believed that it is the largest religious structure in the world. Take a gentle walk down the Angkor Wat causeway through the first gopura to see the sunset over the libraries and gopura from the west side of the ponds. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

In the morning we will drive to visit the Banteay Srei, the beautiful ‘Women’s Citadel’. Located 37kms from Siem Reap town, this was Cambodia’s last major Khmer temple to be rediscovered. This temple has the best engravings among all the ruins and was used in the film ‘Lara Croft Tomb Raider’. then move to Banteay Samre built in the third quarter of the 12^th century.

We will visit the earliest temples of the Angkor area the Roluos Group. The monuments of Roluos, which served as the capital of Indravaraman I (reigned 877-89), are among the earliest large, permanent temples built by the Khmer classical art. Preah Ko, erected by Indavaraman I in the late 9^th century and dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880-Bakhong, the largest and the most interesting of the Roluos group temples, with his active Buddhist monastery just to the north of the east entrance Lolei, the four brick towers are replicas of the ones at Preah Kho, built on an islet in the center of the large reservoir by Yasovarman I – the founder of the first city of Angkor.

Then visit the Prolung Khmer, a Pottery and weaving center. Prolung Khmer is a Non-Government Organization that aims to revive the ancient Khmer crafts of cotton weaving and pottery making. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

This morning, we will excursion to visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen’s “floating village” with floating schools, floating police station, etc. and the “village” moves from place to place following water levels and current.

Next visit the Old Market where you can see the fresh local produce being sold as well as browse the souvenir stalls.

In the afternoon, free day on your own until transfer to Siem Reap International airport for your flight back.
