Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city welcomes you (D)
Our tour guide will welcome at Tan Son Nhat airport and then transfer to your chosen hotel for check-in, (Check-in time is 14h00, check-out time is 12h00. Early check-in & late check-out are subject to the availability of the hotel. There will be a surcharge if requested).
Afternoon: free time to take a rest, walking around…
A Welcome Dinner will be at a Vietnamese local restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnel by speedboat (B,L,D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
7:00 am: transfer to the boat pier by Saigon River. Embark on a speed boat and enjoy a scenic cruise on Saigon River. Within 15 minutes, the banks of the river change from city sprawl to lush jungle. A light breakfast of sandwiches or pastries, fresh tropical fruits and Vietnamese iced coffee (Ca Phe Sua Da) is served, as your guide explains rural traditions and aspects of riverbank life.
8:50 am: You will arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels site before the majority of larger bus tours arrive. Watch a brief introductory ‘propaganda’ video to the Cu Chi area.
Explore the tunnel site, which includes weapon and booby trap exhibitions, navigating authentic Viet Cong tunnel, visiting different underground bunkers (kitchens, meeting rooms, ammunitions, etc.), a firing range and much more. Try the local cassava root that sustained Viet Cong fighters for years.
Enjoy a delicious traditional Vietnamese lunch by the river, consisting of authentic fried spring rolls, chicken and beef dishes and soup.
Say goodbye to Cu Chi Tunnel and return to HCMC.
1:00-1:30 pm: Arrive back at the pier. Transfer to your hotel to relax. Free at your leisure.
18h30: Depart from your hotel to a cruise port in HCMC. Embark on a cruise ship to enjoy your dinner while the boat slowly glides on Saigon River. During your meal, enjoy nice music performances. 21h00: Disembarkation and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in HCMC.
Day 3: HCMC – Mekong Delta Cruise, the 1st cruising day (B,L,D)
After breakfast at the hotel. We leave HCMC and depart to Ben Tre province.
Upon arrival, you will board your cruise boat at a pier in Ben Tre city and head to An Hoa River. Enjoy your welcome drink and peaceful scenery while crew members board your luggage. The cruise will take you to Phong Nam village in Giong Trom, where you will take the cycling trip through the Village to explore more of the local daily life.
Stop at a local house to taste the tropical fruits and chat with the farmer. Visit a noodle factory that supplies to most local markets in the area.
Continue to take a rowing sampan boat through the small canals, which are covered green by the water coconut plants.
As you reach the big river, your sampan is waiting for you and lunch will be served on board.
After lunch, your boat will bring you to My Long village where you will meet with a local family, Mr. Sau Tuong, a former Vietcong soldier who survived two years fighting the Khmer Rouge in Phnom Penh. Now he and his wife live on making rice paper, which is the most famous specialty of My Long village. Have a chat with him and enjoy the crispy rice paper made by his wife, and observe the process of how it is made.
Return to the boat and continue to cruise to Mo Cay canals. Stop for a visit at the coconut processing workshop where you can see how the locals utilize every bit of the coconut. Continue cruising to Vung Liem Canal where your sampan will dock for an overnight.
Relax and freshen up for your cooking demonstration and dinner on board. The rest of the evening will be spent at your leisure.
Day 4: Vung Liem – Tra On, the 2nd cruising day (B,L,D)
In the morning, breakfast will be served on board and you will start to visit the brick factory where you will see how bricks are made in the traditional method and mostly by hand. Continue to take the bike ride through green paddies, garden settings and local villages to explore the untouched beauty of this region.
Head to the town of Vung Liem, continue to visit the Cao Dai Temple in one of the most popular local religions, which is a combination of Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. The boat will then cruise to Tra On on the Mang Thit river, on the way you will stop at Cai Nhum village where you will have a walk or bike ride through local villages and this will offer a good chance to observe the local culture and interact with the local people.
Get back to your boat and continue cruising to Can tho.
While onboard, freshen up, and then head to the deck to observe the sunset, your private bar is always open and your dinner will be served afterward. Enjoy the fresh air while cruising on the tranquil water. The rest of the evening is spent at your leisure. Overnight onboard near Can Tho City.
Day 5: Disembarkation in Can Tho – Phu Quoc Island (Flight) (B,L,D)
Get up early in the morning and your breakfast will be ready out the deck. Freshen up for the early boat trip to the spectacular Cai Rang floating market, where you will transfer to a smaller boat and mingle amongst hundreds of trading vessels. Feel free to buy yourself fruits or drinks from the local boats.
After your market visit, return to your cruise, and soak in your surroundings. Time to check out and you will be dropped off at Ninh Kieu quay in Can Tho.
Transfer to Can Tho airport (Tra Noc) to take a flight to Phu Quoc island. Check into your chosen hotel/resort. Free time at leisure to enjoy the beach.
Your lunch & dinner will be at Vietnam restaurants. Overnight in Phu Quoc.
Day 6: Explore Phu Quoc island (B,L,D)
8h30 am – Pick up at the hotel, move to An Thoi habor, get on your boat. Try fishing with fishermen.
Enjoy the fresh air on the ocean. It is a great time for snorkeling at Dam islet & Mui Ong Doi with amazing scenery under the water.
Lunch will be served on board. After your lunch, we cruise to Sao Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on this island: sea bath, sunbath, relax… Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Phu Quoc.
Day 7: Phu Quoc, free day at leisure (B)
Free at your leisure to enjoy the beach or personal visits… Overnight in Phu Quoc.
Day 8: Phu Quoc – Hanoi (Flight) (B,L,D)
Free at leisure until transfer to the airport for a flight to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.
Upon arrival at the airport, your local tour guide will pick you up and transfer to your chosen hotel. Free time at leisure.
Your lunch & dinner will be at local restaurants. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9: Explore Hanoi capital (B,L,D)
This morning, pay a visit to Ho Chi Minh’s stilted house, located among banyan and milkweed trees. Continue to the iconic, lotus-shaped One-Pillar Pagoda, built by King Ly Thai To; the Temple of Literature (Quoc Tu Giam) recognized as Hanoi’s first university – The temple is featured on the back of the 100,000 VND banknote.
Having lunch with Hanoi’s specialties, at a local restaurant.
After a short rest at your hotel, enjoy a 1-hour cyclo ride (rickshaw) through the bustling Old Quarter along its time-honored streets. Visit the Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake.
Having a Vietnamese dinner in Hanoi. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 10: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise by Seaplane (B,L,D)
Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Noi Bai airport to take an interesting 45-minute flight from Hanoi to Halong Bay by seaplane (depart at 9:00AM). Along the way, enjoy fabulous aerial views over the Red River Delta and experience the thrill of a water landing at the Tuan Chau Island Marina.
The flight can be extended to offer you an additional 15-minutes scenic tour over the bay.
This allows you to enjoy thousands of limestone karsts jutting up from the jade-green waters from a bird’s eye view and see remote fishing villages before landing on Tuan Chau Island Marina.
Ha Long Bay was recognized by UNESCO as World Natural Heritage in 1994 and in 2000.
The bay includes some 1,600 islands and islets, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. Because of their precipitous nature, most of the islands are uninhabited and unaffected by a human presence.
10:00 AM: The seaplane will land at Tuan Chau Island Marina. Transfer to Halong cruise port. Take a rest with a welcome drink while waiting for the boarding formalities.
Around 12:30, transfer to your cruise ship. After a short briefing and the cabin check-in, it’s time to enjoy a lunch with fresh seafood served in the dining room while cruising towards the bay itself.
In the afternoon, relax on the boat or join in some activities such as sea kayaking, swimming on a nice sandy beach (if the weather permits), bamboo boat rowing; explore a beautiful cave (guided)…
You’ll have a cooking demonstration in the restaurant before enjoying your dinner in the dining room.
Evening: Onboard activities: relax on deck, Beauty Spa services (on guest’s own account); drink some beer, cocktail at the bar (on guest’s own account), or night time squid fishing (seasonal)… Overnight on board.
Day 11: Halong Bay cruise – Yen Duc Village - Hanoi (B,L,D)
Waking up early for Tai Chi exercises on the sun deck, and watching the amazing sunrise over the Bay. After Tai Chi, reward yourself with a healthful and light breakfast in the ship’s restaurant.
Relaxing on the sundeck to enjoy your cruising time on the Bay. Enjoy a full brunch buffet as you cruise back to port. Cabin check-out.
Your driver and bus will transfer you back to Hanoi. You’ll stop at Yen Duc village. This is one of the villages in the Red River Delta that still preserves its authentic lifestyle. The local people’s lives revolve around rice cultivation and farming activities.
Taking a short walk through the village, you’ll see the charming rice fields, traditional houses and gardens, and friendly locals working on their farms…
Arriving at a Northern traditional house, you’ll taste some seasonal fruit and local specialties then enjoy a 30-minute Vietnamese water puppet show.
Walking back to your bus and continuing the way to Hanoi. Check into your hotel.

Day 12: Hanoi – Departure (B)
